MEDIUM CALIBRE - 30 MM

Based on the highly successful 25mm ammunition, Mecar can offer a number of rounds for different 30mm weapon systems.

The M929 APFSDS-T has been designed for the Russian type 30mm cannons, as used on the BMP family of vehicles. It offers a substantial increase in penetration power, compared to the standard AP ammunition.

The M930 TP round is a low cost training round for the Aden type 30mm weapon. It can also be used in the M230 Chain Gun.

The M928 APFSDS-T round is being developed for the Rarden, Bushmaster & Oerlikon 30mm weapon systems, based on the 30x173mm cartridge case. This round will also offer a substantial increase in penetration, compared with the standard AP ammunition.
